Although Historical Construction Equipment Association members are from all corners of the world and from all walks of life, there is a common thread that ties us all together. That bond is an interest in historic construction equipment and a concern for the preservation of these machines and their history.

One of the most important activities of the HCEA is the production of a quarterly magazine, Equipment Echoes. The magazine is also loaded with news from the HCEA Museum Archives, trivia from archivist Tom Berry, and reviews of books and videos on construction, surface mining, and dredging equipment.
On top of all the original content we stuff into each issue, we’ve also created a section called “Diggin’ For Help” where you can request help in identifying and restoring equipment! Finally, a robust classified section will match buyers and sellers looking to buy or sell equipment, parts, and collectibles.
