TD 18-182 military dozer

    Does anyone know how to trace military equipment serial numbers? This bulldozer i just bought is a 1958  built Aug 8.I know they were going to the TD-20 and that was the last year the 182 were being built do you know what month was the last month the 182 went out of production.Also it has a front mounted cable lift blade. Will post pictures soon

    In my equipment guide the TD18A series 181 shows last being made

    in1956 beginning with serial number 35725.

    The TD 18 182 series shows in 1956 starting with 36101

                                              1957 starting with 37883

                                              1958 starting with 38805

    I hope that this helps.

    I'm looking for info on the front cable lift for the blade .I am in need of a brake band.Anyone know were i can get it relined. Also how do you post pictures?
